Real-money gambling apps on the Google Play Store are currently only allowed in the UK, Ireland, France and Brazil but starting from March 1 this year, an additional 15 countries will be added to the mix. The Play Store policy change will allow gambling apps in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.

This applied to all types of gambling content as long as it involved real-money bets and prizes, including games of skill. The good news is that Google recently decided to lift the ban on real-money gambling content at its Google Play Store. The company has updated its terms, allowing such. Examples of violations. Games that accept money in exchange for an opportunity to win a physical or monetary prize; Apps that have navigational elements or features (e.g. Menu items, tabs, buttons, webviews, etc.) that provide a “call to action” to wager, stake, or participate in real-money games, contests or tournaments using real money, such as apps that invite users to “BET!”.
Google Play Real Money Gambling No Deposit
The accompanying developer note on Google’s support page specifies four gambling categories including online casino games, lotteries, sports betting and daily fantasy sports. Developers of these types of apps will have to fill out a special gambling application form and make sure their app has an International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) content rating and meets Google’s Developer Policy Center requirements.
